RLC Founder Rachel Ley has been re-elected to the Board of EVCOM –the Event and Visual Communication Association.  EVCOM brings together the leading professionals who collectively create and deliver live events, film and digital media to corporate and public audiences.

In providing a voice for its industry, the EVCOM represents the sector to Government, spotlights excellence in communication through awards schemes and promotes professional development through industry-specific training. Rachel returns to EVCOM’s 16-strong Board after successfully leading its Education Committee for the preceding three years. During that time, she continued to drive the Association’s training programme, addressing the needs of EVCOM members and the wider industry. She also worked closely with the academic world, establishing closer links between lecturers, students and event professionals.

Commenting on her re-election to the Board Rachel said: “I’ve been actively involved with EVCOM and its predecessor, EVENTIA, since 2005. It’s been so stimulating to share discussions with many of the most forward thinking people in the events business, and am delighted to be able to continue to develop the professionalism of our industry and to assist newcomers in embarking on one of the most exciting and dynamic careers around.”
