Discover the Power of Singing
It’s official. Singing, even for those of us who sound like a scalded cat, is good for us. It releases the hormones that raise the spirits and counteract stress and anxiety. And those of us who have participated in group singing – whether it’s am-dram, rock opera or Gospel choir – will swear by its power to bond and energize. But how, and why?
RLC has already worked extensively with singing teacher Lisa Faye Broadhead in producing some sensational choral experiences as the entertainment climax to conferences and awards dinners. And now we want to take things one step further, with a one-day singing workshop exploring the benefits of singing and its power to boost wellbeing.
Unleash your voice
If you enjoy singing and would like to discover the potential of your voice, why not come and join us at The Power of Singing? You don’t need any previous experience, or the ability to read music. Just enthusiasm and the desire to discover how far your voice can take you. Lisa Faye’s company, 5678 Music Entertainment, educates, entertains and enlightens. She and her colleagues will lead participants through a range of techniques to improve their vocal reach, sharing useful warm-ups, while exploring the physical and psychological benefits of singing.
The sessions will include familiar songs – from pop through to musicals. And the take-aways will be a collection of exercises, songs, new friends, and just possibly the inspiration to further develop your singing powers.
