Team Events

Team Events have earned a bad reputation in the past. However, research shows that the more time we invest in our people; the more likely it is that they will be a productive and effective team.  Have you seen a CV recently that does not include something about the applicant being a “good team player”?  We know excellent team work, we value your company’s culture and integrity and we partner with our clients to understand the greater context of their teams.

3 steps to a successful team event:

Step 1 – Event Consultancy

Do you know why you are holding a team event?  Do you know what type of event will be sure to deliver your objectives?  Have you developed your message and communicated it to engage with your team?  Our consultancy approach will take you through a rigid interrogation of why, what and how.  Then together we can develop the concept.

Step 2 - Administration and Logistics

Known by some as “the boring bits”, these elements are the foundation blocks of successful delivery.  We relish data management and delight in the everyday detail.  Our in house project management tools mean that we consistently deliver excellent logistical support; taking the headache of the mundane away from you and letting you focus on the other elements of the project.  Naturally our reporting system means that you will always have an overview to give you peace of mind.

Step 3 - Creative Delivery

The objectives, message and activity has been developed.  Your team has been engaged and invited.  The administration is taken care of.  Now all that is left is to deliver your project in a creative and memorable way.  This does not require huge budgets or flashy kit but rather an umbrella approach which delivers excellent return on investment and feedback that will knock your socks off.

A quick note to thank Julia and the team for ensuring that our offsite last week went according to plan and not only met but exceeded our expectations.  The main part of the offsite was targeted at team building and improving communication within our team. The day also proved to be a good morale booster and gave all the individuals a sense of ownership and empowerment.

I admit that I was a little hesitant about taking the team out of their safety zone; however, the team members thoroughly enjoyed the variety of tasks throughout the day. Once again, a well organised day from start to finish.
